Photo dump: Chambéry

Room at the Art Hotel, where I stayed Thursday night.

Notice the lack of shower curtain.

And if you turn your head to the side, you look like a fool. I mean, you can see part of the Château des Ducs.

Closer view of the Château des Ducs de Savoie.

More château.

Back of the château.

Mairie (city hall).
Fontaine des Elephants.

Y helo thar.

The water in the Elephant fountain isn't drinkable. Most water in France is.

"To the Savoyards who died for their country." (Savoyards = people from Savoie/Savoy, which is the department we're in.)

Ads for Dexter are all over the place. Sean keeps telling me to watch it.

"All different, All equal"

"exploitation, speculation, misery, war, famine, hate among people. Capitalism is killing our world. Let's stop capitalistic barbarism." They've got signs everywhere decrying one thing or another. One day I'll take a picture of the one about television.
